Transportation & projects planner

At Gebr. Vermeer Industrial Movements, we specialize in moving, transporting and assembling machines and installations in various sectors. To ensure our projects run efficiently and smoothly, we are looking for a Planner Industrial Movements.
As a planner, you will ensure smart and orderly scheduling of both personnel and equipment. You have a coordinating role between clients, project leaders and implementation teams. With your organizational skills and stress-resistance, you ensure that projects fit together well and that people and resources are deployed optimally.
What will you do?
- Plan and coordinate industrial movements and transports
- Scheduling of personnel, equipment and transportation resources
- Liaise with clients, project managers and implementation teams
- Resolve scheduling challenges and process changes
- Thinking ahead and shifting gears in unexpected situations
- Monitor the progress of projects and ensure efficient execution
- Administrative processing of assignments.
This is a varied position in which you play an important role in the daily operations. No day is the same and flexible switching is essential!
Who are we looking for?
- A stress-resistant and solution-oriented planner
- Experience as a planner in the transportation, logistics or technical sector
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good at setting priorities and handling time pressure
- Experience with planning software or logistics systems is a plus
- Affinity with industrial moving, transportation or engineering
- Good command of the Dutch language, English or German is a plus
Experience as a planner is a great advantage, but even if you have experience in logistics or project coordination and would like to move into planning, we invite you to apply!
